Andrea H. Evans, Esq. and Ashley Deadwyler-Jones presents HBCU Highlights: CEO of the Dodgers Foundation, Nichol T. Whiteman.
This series spotlights HBCU graduates who tell their inspiring stories. Let’s take a walk in Nichol’s shoes! We hit a HOME RUN with this interview!
Nichol tells us her amazing story of leaving home at the young age of 14 to attend a prestigious boarding school. While visiting Atlanta to tour Emory, someone recommended that Nichol and her mother visit Spelman and the rest is history! Once Nichol stepped foot on Spelman’s campus, she fell in love with Spelman College. She tells us her path from Spelman to working in Finance in NYC and then moving to LA to work at the Jackie Robinson Foundation and now, Chief Executive Officer – Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.
