LaShonda did not know about HBCUs until she took a HBCU college tour with her church in 9th grade. When she visited Spelman, she immediately knew that she wanted to attend Spelman! After graduating from Spelman, she worked as a consultant. She tells us her story of her amazing time at Spelman where she was an active leader on campus and how she became the Global Vice President, Change Management and Organization Development at Assurant.
